As President of Gary G. Oetgen Agency, Gary is responsible for the agency's strategic direction and planning. He oversees all aspects of the agency including service, support, marketing, individualized plan design and selection.

An insurance industry veteran, Gary has more than twenty-five years of experience in Employee Benefit Management. He utilized his initial ten years of experience in individual and group life, health and disability insurance markets, to form the Gary G. Oetgen Agency in June, 1992.

In 2005, Gary was appointed by Governor Sonny Perdue to the Health Strategies Council, representing the private health insurance industry. He is also a member and two-term President of the Savannah Association of Life Underwriters and Gamma Iota Sigma Honorary Insurance Fraternity, as well as a member of United Benefit Advisors.

Gary holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Georgia, where he majored in Risk Management and Insurance.

Kara joined the Gary G. Oetgen Agency in April, 2004, with five years experience in medical reimbursement account management and appeals. She is responsible for handling client claims and appeals, as well as training clients in available technology and employee benefit servicing tools.
