Gary G. Oetgen, CLU

As President of Gary G. Oetgen Agency, Gary is responsible for the agency's strategic direction and planning. He oversees all aspects of the agency including service, support, marketing, individualized plan design and selection.
An insurance industry veteran, Gary has more than thirty years of experience in Employee Benefit Management. He utilized his initial ten years of experience in individual and group life, health and disability insurance markets, to form the Gary G. Oetgen Agency in June, 1992.
In 2005, Gary was appointed by Governor Sonny Perdue to the Health Strategies Council, representing the private health insurance industry. He is also a member and two-term President of the Savannah Association of Life Underwriters, National Association of Health Underwriters, as well as a member of United Benefit Advisors (UBA). Effective January 1,2011, Gary has been named to serve a 3 year term on the national Board of Directors for United Benefit Advisors, one of the nation's largest employee benefits advisory organizations with more than 165 offices located throughout the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. Gary holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Georgia, where he majored in Risk Management and Insurance and was a member of Gamma Iota Sigma Honorary Insurance Fraternity. He has earned the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation from The American College.

Karen Logue

Karen joined our agency in July 2000 with more than 20 years of experience working in medical practices, including 10 years experience in medical office practice management. This background uniquely provides our accounts insightful and experienced knowledge of the medical claim process. She clearly understands how medical providers interact with insurance companies concerning provider reimbursements. Being a Life and Health Insurance Agent for 10 plus years, she conducts open enrollment meetings, provides HR tools and general administrative solutions, communicates compliance requirements and conducts other on sight meetings.
Karen is a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters.

Aimee Norton

In May 2011, Aimee joined the Gary G. Oetgen Agency bringing over 10 years of administrative skills with a versatile technical skill set. Prior to moving to Savannah, Aimee resided in Texas and worked at ADP with the dealer services division where she honed her skills by troubleshooting websites and client concerns using various techniques and tools such as SQL and Unix command line editor.
Aimee works closely with the Group Account Manager and the carriers to anticipate and ensure timely servicing of client needs. She is responsible for interfacing with clients, carriers, and associates on a daily basis. Additionally, Aimee prepares submissions to carriers and proposals to clients, marketing new and renewal accounts, and enrollments and terminations.
With her system skills, Aimee is helping our agency stay current in today’s technology driven environment.

David O. Clark, CEBS

In 2014, David joined Gary G. Oetgen Agency and is focused on the design and implementation of comprehensive benefits packages that meet the strategic needs of employers. He is introducing employers to unique solutions that simplify the management of complex compliance responsibilities imposed by the Affordable Care Act. David leverages both the talent and capabilities of the staff at Gary G. Oetgen Agency and the resources of United Benefit Advisors, to help employers provide benefits offerings that further their goal of recruiting and retaining the highest quality employees.
David began his career in financial services and insurance in 1994, and since that time has held positions of increasing responsibility with large multi-national corporations as well as a locally owned agency. Along the way he has also owned and operated successful companies in the mortgage and logistics industries.
David holds a Bachelors of Business Administration from The University of Georgia where he majored in Finance. In 1999, he earned the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation from The Wharton School.

Phil Wittenberg

In March 2015, Phil joined the Gary G. Oetgen Agency bringing over 19 years of experience in the insurance industry. Phil has extensive experience on the insurance carrier side of the business representing BlueCross BlueShield of GA, United Healthcare and Aetna .
Prior to moving to Savannah, Phil resided in the Augusta area for the last 20 years. Phil is originally from just outside of Chicago, having grown up in Evanston IL.
Phil works closely with our insurance carrier partners to provide top notch individual products and customer service to our clients. He will be responsible for maintaining superior carrier and client relationships to assist in navigating the waters of the Affordable Care Act.
